Janet and her best friend decided to get their bone health assessed together after Janet's mother was diagnosed with osteoporosis.
"Bone health runs in my family, and I wanted to be proactive," Janet says. "When I told my friend about it, she was immediately on board. We made it a health day together."
Both women booked their REMS assessments at the Naples location and were pleasantly surprised by how quick and comfortable the process was.
"I brought my friend along and we both had an amazing experience. The staff was warm, the process was quick, and the results were eye-opening. We have already scheduled our next scans."
Janet's results confirmed her concerns — she had lower bone quality scores than expected for her age, likely influenced by genetic factors. Her friend, on the other hand, received reassuring results.
"Knowing runs in both directions. My friend got peace of mind, and I got the early warning I needed. We both left feeling like we had made the right choice."
Janet now advocates for bone health awareness in her community and has referred several other friends and family members to Function Bone Health.
